		<content type="html"><![CDATA[Yes We Can, Stand For Change We Can Believe In!<br /><br />Are we finally coming of age<br />Are the answers within reach<br />Can we take our Country back<br />Fight what the corporations preach?<br /><br />Will it be for, we the people<br />The way, it was meant to be<br />Can we stop the loss of our rights<br />Return to, the land of the free?<br /><br />One man cannot change it all<br />He can't take it all apart<br />But with our help it can be done<br />And at the top, is where we start.<br /><br />The status quo, has got to go<br />We all know, it's got to change<br />We can't wait, till it's too late<br />Now, is the time to rearrange.<br /><br />It all started out with NAFTA<br />Bill Clinton could have stopped it cold<br />Now, the China Trade Agreement<br />Has them make most all that's sold.<br /><br />The Congress and the Senate<br />Let it all snowball and grow<br />We borrow from the Communists <br />They'll bankrupt us, don't you know?<br /><br />They give King Bush a free hand<br />To do most anything he likes<br />Like torture and wiretapping<br />And so-called preemptive strikes.<br /><br />We must hold them all accountable<br />If they won't do the People's will<br />We merely have to kick them out<br />And vote for someone who will.<br /><br />We can bring our Troops home<br />From Bushes ill begotten war<br />Give them the care they all deserve<br />Before we lose too many more.<br /><br />On the other hand we can vote<br />To stay a hundred years in Iraq<br />Where we should have never gone<br />So sad, we can't take it all back.<br /><br />All that we've been wasting<br />We can start to spend on us<br />If it's not too late already<br />If our treasury's not gone bust.<br /><br /> People caught in our disasters<br />Could get aid instead of rhetoric<br />And told they will not be forgotten<br />While they live in trailers and get sick.<br /><br />We could develop other energies<br />And get away from foreign oil<br />Like cheap, renewable sources<br /> Grown here on  American soil.<br /><br />We can take tax cuts from the rich<br />And give the middle class a break<br />Bring jobs back to our People<br />That corporations want to take.<br /><br />Maybe, fix some roads and bridges<br />Have health care for everyone<br />Fix schools and pay the teachers<br />Just some things, that can be done.<br /><br />As far as the “super delegates”<br />They best listen to, what voters say<br />Not just put in, who they want<br />With some arrogant power play.<br /><br />It surely is a time for change<br />It's time for the People to rule<br />Instead of the corporate politicians<br />Headed up, by some other fool.<br /><br />Maybe we'll restore our image<br />And be what, we once stood for<br />A beacon that the World will see <br />Once more, leads to Freedom's door.<br /><br />But, we can't show them anything<br />Unless, we first, see the light<br />And guide our Nation to the place<br />Where we the People, have the Right.<br /><br />Some may not get past the color<br />That's sad, in this day and age<br />It's time for them to get over it<br />So, we can turn another page.<br /><br />Let's hope he'll do what he says<br />That we won't get the shaft again<br />And when he wins the election<br />It will be all of us who'll win.<br /><br /> <br />We may not get another chance<br />At the least, not one like this<br />It's a once in a lifetime choice<br />That, would be a shame, to miss.<br /><br />Del “Abe” Jones<br />2.14.08<br /><br />NEW WEBPAGE  <a href="http://mywebpage.netscape.com/delabejones/page3.htm">http://mywebpage.netscape.com/delabejones/page3.htm</a>]]></content>
